Looking for a career in Home Automation (Crestron)

Hi all.

I am looking to adjust the direction of my career towards AV Systems/Home Automation installation/programming. I have gained valuable experience designing, installing and programming Audio/Video post production editing systems, both in the studio and for major live events, while working as a Broadcast technician.

I'm basically looking for a trainee postion in which to start my new career, more then willing to relocate.

If anyone has any advice or know of any opportunities, please get in touch.

cheers
Tony

Re: Looking for a career in Home Automation (Crestron)

Hi

Im only 19 i heard about crestron from a freind around 8 months ago and found out about the courses.
I contacted a few companys asking if them if they would put me forward for the crestron training as thats all they have to do because they are free and i just went from there.
I have now completed 3 of the crestron courses and have now found a job as a trainee with a different company .

So if i was you and wanted to get involved with crestron id recommened trying to get put forward by a company and maybe offer to stay with them once qualified if not apply for a position and say about your crestron and hopefully they will reconise it.

hope you understand this if not i dont no
