An exciting opportunity has arisen within an Independent multi-purpose entertainment venue in Gainsborough Lincolnshire. The venue is a 1200 capacity nightclub/live entertainment venue as well as a 150 seat cinema, situated within the town centre.

Gainsborough is located only 14 miles from Scunthorpe, 20 miles from Lincoln, 21 miles from Doncaster, 21 miles from Worksop, 27 miles from Rotherham, 33 miles from Sheffield, 40 miles from Mansfield ,41 miles from Barnsley and 48 miles from Nottingham

We require a Cinema Manager with previous cinema industry experience with the main objective of expanding the cinema's customer base and improving box office revenue. Candidates should be hard working, determined, enthusiastic, have a lot of initiative and have the desire to make the venue grow and succeed.

The role will include the following but is not exhaustive

Liaising with film distributors
Negotiating terms of film bookings
Selection and scheduling of films and sport
Website maintenance
Analysis of trends
Marketing and promotion of the cinema to increase box office revenue
Customer service
Ingesting films and ensuring the smooth running of the cinema
Returning films to distributors in a timely manner
Customer Research
Attendance returns to the Distributors
Operation of cinema equipment
Deputising for Duty Manager when required including staff supervision and building custodian duties.
