Im hoping someone can help, I currently work as an educational AV technician, but they cant offer me full time work, and its very low level stuff.

I did a degree in photography, but didnt enjoy working freelance as the money was sparse to say the least.

I'd ideally like to get into live event AV with a specific interest in visuals, but have no idea where to start. I'd need a junior/trainee position, but does anyone know a good way to a. get my foot in the door, b. any qualifications that would help me get my foot in the door?

you could search on here http://www.jobsav.co.uk/ for traineeships, most work seem to be london based.
