Career routes from educational AV

I work at a college and have had experience of working in AV in colleges for a while....

Im starting to get annoyed with the job I have as they're not giving me the same level responsibility that i had in the same job as when I was 16.... (im now 24), I am also looking to go full time.... Has anyone got any suggestions for career routes i could take....

My previous roles have been
Educational AV technician X2
Digital Photographic Technician (educational)(i also have a degree and HND in photography)
IT technician (educational)
