try digitalnewsagent.com a website where you can download your favourite magazine like h.c.c.& what hi fi for a small fee,you then have your mag. on your pc.

I think What Hifi is worth looking at occasionally for a good laugh (or cry) - especially the HDMI cable 'reviews'...

I never buy any of the UK mags.

Widescreen Review has to be the most reliable and authoritative magazine. I just find that these days they don't print many reviews of equipment I'm actually interested in...

Home Theater [sic] is also good, but I haven't read it for a while.

I usually find that this, and other, forums [fora?] are the best sources of practical information.
