Product Manager - Apple/iPod (London)

Are you an experienced Sales / Marketing / Product Management professional with a love for all things music? Then this is the opportunity you have been searching for!

We are recruiting for experienced Product Managers for exciting opportunities within one of the largest IT Distributors in the UK, France and Spain.

Working as part of the Apple/iPod team you will be responsible for developing and managing the products within the Apple/iPod range in order to drive and expand its existing success.

Other key responsibilities of the role include:
• Representing and supporting vendors at UK shows/events and during external meetings
• Indentifying and recruiting new vendors
• Monitor sales performance whilst maximising sales opportunities
• Develop marketing plans, monitoring the success and adjusting accordingly
• Ensure all product content is supplied to marketing within an agreed timescale
• Assisting the sales department to ensure all product pricing is correct at all times
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, dealer channel and competitive products, sharing all relevant information with team

Candidate:
Interested candidates must come from a Sales, Marketing or Product Management background within the consumer hardware industry and be experienced in dealing with vendors.

Salary:
• Ł30,000 basic
• Ł38,000 OTE (with a total earning potential of Ł45,000)
• Ł5,700 car allowance

• Time Out: Social activities involving friends and family are actively encouraged and promoted. With sponsorship of a number of heavily subsided events for employees to enjoy including, theatre and Wimbledon etc
• Holidays: 20 days a year, rising up to 25 days according to service plus public holidays.
• Further Education: Study leave to employees undertaking any formal academic or professional qualification, relating to their role, in addition to part or full payment of exam fees.
• Staff Discounts: All employees are given a discount on any purchases made and are able to buy items at cost price, spreading the payment over an interest free period.
• Child Care Vouchers: Government Child Care Voucher scheme is in operation, enabling employees to reduce their overall child care costs.
