Wanted : Behringer 2496

Hey

I am interested in buying a Behringer 2496 or a similar piece of hardware.

I live in Norway so I know that the shipping will be a little bit extra.

Location: Norway
I have read the trading rules and agree to abide by them at all times until the transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties involved : Yes.

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:

1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2) Name and address including postcode
3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Re: Wanted : Behringer 2496

Hi

do you want a new or used one and also may I ask why the 2495 and not the 1124.

Is it going to be used for sub EQ only

let me know Al

Is it the behringer DEQ-2496? I have one but you do know this is a pro audio kit. It's design for professional use and quite complex. If you are thinking to use it to EQ your home system then IMHO it not fit for the purpose unless you are a sound engineer. If you planning to use it for controlling your sub, then better with an active crossover or/and a valve compressor. Easy and better control.
If you use it to gig then you can have it for £200.

Re: Wanted : Behringer 2496

I must agree with what voicecoil has just said,

the DEQ 2496 is definatley over the top for bass eq in the home and a 1124 is what you need.

If it is a 2496 I have a brand new boxed one you can have £195 + postage

Re: Wanted : Behringer 2496

I bought my FBQ2496 brand new for £111 from this place:

Behringer FBQ2496 Feedback Destroyer Pro Andertons Music Co Guildford Surrey

You have to scroll down the page to see the details.

Might be worth contacting them regarding shipping costs rather than paying £200 as posted above. Note that they state "We ship to Europe" on the web page I linked to. I use mine to EQ my subwoofer and it works well, but took a bit of time to do satisfactorily.

Re: Wanted : Behringer 2496

I have the Behringer FBQ 2496 i would be prepared to sell for £80 + postage - have got a (cheapo) usb midi cable too i'd throw in too. Had it for nearly 1yr but sat in my rack unused.

Not too sure of the cheapest way to get this to Norway tho??

Let me know if interested.

Regards

Karl

Re: Wanted : Behringer 1124/1100/ 2496

Hey

Sorry for late reply but have been busy..

But thanks for all the input, and I must say that 1100 and 1124 perhapes is a better choice.

So does anyone have a 1100/1124 for sale?
