I have available for sale Smart-e distribution matrix model: SNX16x16+ together with 7 remote clients SLX-RX111. It is 16 sources to 16 zones with multi standard video + audio transmission. It'll accept Component, S-Video, Composite and PC RGB Signals. Can be controlled via supplied remote from remote locations as well as RS-232 and USB interfaces. Item is located in Baleares/Spain and local price is €4.600 + Delivery (Euros) please check www.xe.com for conversion to UK £.

The price is stated on top of the thread, but since it is sitting and doing

Thanks for the reply, apologies I missed the price in the original post. Can you give me a feel for how old the unit is, how much use, etc. Is it still in warranty?

I know it is quality kit, but the price is a little high for me for a used unit, especially given I probably only need an 8x8. How negotiable are you, especially if it is gathering dust

Paul,

The unit only seen out of the box as it was installed in the rack, but apart from that nothing has been done.
I have removed it from client's rack and since then it is in my storage. The client receivers were velcroed to the tv's so, they might have some adhesive residue.
There is also IR/RS-232 distribution panel included.
I'll get some photos tomorrow.
I can give you another 200.00 off the price, so it's now
4.200.00 Euro including clients, remotes and various cables.

I am really interested in the unit, but there are a few concerns for me. Firstly, you are in Spain, me the UK, which would involve one of us parting with either a lot of money or an expensive unit on the trust of the other - not ideal. Secondly, the unit is used (good condition), but presumably without warranty so I am taking a big gamble that everything will be perfect and I won't have wasted a pile of money.

So in summary I cannot justify the 4k cost. Assuming we can sort out some logistics so that neither of us feel we are taking too much of a risk then I would be prepared to go nearer the 3k figure, but as I say subject to agreeing the terms and conditions.

I understand if you want to take your chances locally and will wish you all the best, but let me know if this is of interest to you.

We can agree on a figure as I've said It's been sitting and doing nothing for a few months. I also have UPS & FedEx accounts, so you can have it shipped at the cost.
