For Sale : Sky HD box, With Compent output

Thomson DSI8215 Version Number 4E3004.

This box is in perfect working order, flaws are cosmetic only. Has Component outputs!!!

It does have a few scratches on the case. you'll see them but I haven't noticed them once sat amongst all my other AV gear, only when I pull the box out under close inspection.

This unit is boxed, Includes a Sky HD remote, and I will Find a Power Cable if you want one.


Box History:

Given to me as a totally knackered box just over a year ago from someone Who has Had Sky HD from nearly day one.
It had both a Dud PSU and HDD.

I Repaired the PSU myself and was one of the very first to use the Satcure PSU repair kit and used a WDEACS 750gb Hard Disk.

I later Replaced that with a WD10EVVS 1TB HDD, and added a Coaxial Digital output.( can be removed if requested)

It's been working as well as one of these boxes ever does for me for little over a year.

I have since got my hands on a Samsung box moved my 1TB HDD to that, and have found an original Maxtor Quickview 300GB HDD that I have Fully tested and Checked using Spinrite to find that the Hard disk is in Good working Order before putting it in this box.
Also the I checked the PSU caps with an ESR meter and they are all still in perfect working order. Also cleaned out all the dust from inside too.

Any issues with the fan on this, does it go off when the box goes into standby as it should and is it particuarly noisy?

If the fan functions correctly, i'll offer £85 for this as long as you are prepared to post first due to your trader rating.

This is normal practise on here.

No Issues with the fan. it switches off usually within 2 minutes of the box going into standby, 100+P&P(of your choise) is as low as I'll go, Else it goes on Ebay.

I'll be off to the post office/DHL kiosk as soon as any payment is cleared, and tracking number will be provided.

£90 + delivery or £90 collected, remember this one has already had the PSU refurbished(so you won't have to, it's likely to last alot longer than one that hasn't), as well as the hard disc being checked over. no fan problems ether.

OK, well... you send it DHL next-day (if they are not open, use Royal Mail), and I'll pay whatever the postage is (can stretch up to £100 for next-day if required).

As long as the delivery is less than £15, go for it - send it.
