Thanks: Gave 0, Got 8 | For Sale : Audiolab 8000T.
To fund another hobby I have decided to sell my treasured Audiolab tuner and replace it with a crappy Sony tuner .
The tuner has got to be one of the best remaining examples around with no marks or scratches anywhere on the fascia or cabinet in fact I could describe it as being in near mint condition.
The display is perfect and has not been used much since all the bulbs were replaced.
If anyone is interested I will try and post up pictures to confirm the condition.
It will be shipped in its original box and innards.
£200 plus delivery via RMSD.
Location: Northumberland
I have read the trading rules and agree to abide by them at all times until the transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties involved : Yes.

2) Name and address including postcode
3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch. |

Hi
I May be interested.
I've seen these go for between £75 - £140.
I was thinking of holding out for a Tag with FM DAB but could be tempted if the price was lower.
Any movement on the price?
Cheers
Paul

Sorry, no movement anywhere near that price range, this one is mint and fully boxed, I will hold out for a while longer then if no decent offers it is off to where the last two sold for £250 and £235.
What price would tempt you?.

Paul, I will definitely not sell as low as anything between £75-£140, I appreciate it may be worth less to you between it and the Tag, but the lowest I would go to would be £180 plus postage, any less and I may as well auction it or place it back in my Tag / Audiolab system which is very unforgiven towards the crappy Sony tuner
If you can do without Dab you will not find a better one.
Mal.

Hi Mate
sorry if I gave out the wrong message.
I wasnt expecting you to sell it for £80 but was just giving you a view of the prices I've seen recently.
Sorry for the delay in replying.
I've been looking at other alternatives.
The TAG is outside my price range and I've been looking at an Arcam BAD & FM jobbie.....but
I only listen to Radio 7 on DAB and have a midi system for that...sound quality isnt really a selling point for DAB and R7 is only 64K/s in mono.
So stereo on Radio 2 and Radio 4 is where I need the quality which is why I'm indesisive at the mo.
The question I need to answer is how much better is the 8000T over the Arcam and keep DAB out of the equation.
I am edging to your tuner TBH....can I sqeeze you a little more on the price?
The Arcam will be new with a guarentee and I know the 8000T will not have one and I know you cant offer one lol
Thought I'd let you know my thought processes.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, sorry I can't go any lower than that, even my better half is moaning about the sound quality compared to to the Audiolab, and she wouldn't normally notice the difference between an Alba cd player and a Linn so any less and it might just go back in the rack.
You might find one for less but it will not be in as good a condition, this has never had any components racked on top of it. It took me over a year to find a nice one, prices have dropped since I bought this one at £420 but at the moment can't see them going much lower.
So can I not "squeeze" you into paying the reduced price of £180 for a good one.

Paul, I must assume you are no longer interested so if no sale soon I will be listing this on a well known auction site where I am fairly confident of being left with around £180.

Hi mate
Sorry for no reply but work and life has got in the way.
I'm still undecided at the moment sorry.
.
I'm selling a Marantz CD63KI Sig in work and if it goes thru then I will definatly have it as I see it as free money but funds are tight at the moment and I'm not too far short.
Cheers
Paul

Ade | Hi Mate
Nope...not bluffing
The rules state any offers must be done in the open in the thread and not via PM.
your offer is £10 more than mine so you're in the lead and its over to the seller to choose from here.
Cheers
Paul

Hi All,
I've decided to pull my offer and wait a little longer to save for a TAG.
Its bonus time in March so will go for a T32 & DAB
Cheers
Paul
