Thanks: Gave 8, Got 4 | Wanted : Hard drive recorder
I'm in the Market for a HDD recorder to connect my CCTV system and TV up to. I don't need tv tuners just the basics. It would need to be able to record from scart.
Got one lying around?

Hi I have a Pioneer HDD recorder which I bought from avforums.
It came with 160GB hard drive and I upgraded it to 500GB which cost me extra £69. It provides more than 200 hours DVD quality recording or more than 400hrs in LP recording quality.
It can record from scart as I use it to record from Sky box. I now have sky+ box so I don't use it as often as I used to. I can sell it for £110 delivered.
Cheers

I'm after a really basic recorder to be honest, I am only willing to pay around £50 depending on hard drive capacity

Sony HX900 160GB HDD DVD recorder. Has a super extend rec. mode so you could literally fit hundreds of hours of CCTV footage. In very good condition and comes with remote.
Would like £60 plus postage.

May camcorder has USB connection so firewire connection wouldn't be any use to me, however, I can make use of freeview recording function.
Cheers

I like the sound of the extend rec mode on this model, whats the lowest you would be able to take?
