For sale - a Stands Unique Sound Tower

This is in excellent condition, in ash finish (or could be cherry - its a light finish - see pics below!) with an extra shelf i.e. 5 shelves rather than the standard 4. Its been used in a smoke free environment, and I am only selling due to the fact we are reorganising our room and now changing to some lower racks instead.

The shelves are adjustable in approx 2 cm steps (see pic) and is pretty sturdy and strong.

This is a collect only due to its weight and amount of glass – I could potentially deliver (if easy to get to!) in Edinburgh/lothians area, or possibly Aberdeen area as I am often up there.

Price new is around £350 for this package-

gosh - Im not sure - It was more the safe packaging of it rather than the cost of shipping of it I was concerned about that made me say local only. Its pretty heavy but can be packaged down to a reasonable size - I dont have the original box alas assuming it came in a box of course!).

Just did a quick quote on parcel2go with approx weight and size (25kg!) and it reckons dhl will do it for £15 including pickup - dont know about insurance -that may be more.

If you are interested let me know and I will look at how to package it safely.

Sorry missed this reply. I am interested. Are you able to securely wrap it for shipping? Just concerned that if you do not have the original packaging, it could get damaged (so insurance I guess is a must).

indeed - thats my concern as well- What i will do is package it up this week in bubble wrap and packaging (I have a job lot of bubblewrap, and cardboard packaging from ikea stuff!) and if i am happy with it I will let you know.

Itll take me a day or two to do that but I will let you know as soon after that.

Thinking about it - I may do it as two separate packages (one for shelves, and one for the legs) to make it more secure. Itll increase the cost of postage but I'll go halvers if I do it that way (unless you realllly want to pay for it all!)

started packaging it up - had a brainwave - i have some spare polystyrene from inulating the roof (!) and used that as well. IVe wrapped the shelves in bubblewrap individually, these are then taped together - then polystyrene around that - I'll then put that in strong packaging cardboard.

Im pretty sure that is as good as any real packaging! See attached for what Ive done sofar - I need to put more on the ends and top, then cardboard around that, but took a pic to show you its pretty secure.

Assuming you are happy - we can move to PM.
