For Sale : Pioneer Receiver and Yamaha 5.1 Speakers

I have a Pioneer VSX-C100 5.1 channel receiver and a set of Yamaha NS-P220 Speakers for sale due to a recent upgrade. This is an ideal starter system and includes sub cable and some basic speaker wire (enough for an average room) all in working order.

The receiver is a very slim version in silver and the speakers are 5 silver satellites with an active sub.

I would prefer collection due to not having the original packaging anymore and the weight issue.

The asking price is £110 for collection.

Hmmm, I may make you an offer for these if you can post. Have you any suitably sized boxes and some bubble wrap or the like?

I notice the speakers are 6 Ohms and the amp 8 Ohms (as per superfi.co.uk) Have you got a manual to hand which states the minimum impendance of the amp?

I can confirm these work fine together as I have been using them for a while fine.

I have the instructions and they quote:

30w/ch at 8 ohms and 41w/ch at 6 ohms.

Hi, thanks for that. Just out of interest, does it say anything about running 4 ohms speakers?

For postage, I find parcel2go.com to be cheapest but it mainly depends on the weight. Any idea what it is? If you boxed the items in 1 box (or 2 and taped them together!) I would think between £10 & £20. I would be happy to arrange this myself, but the price would have to reflect this.

The total weight is about 18kg, the dimensions of the sub are 200x395x384 and the receiver is 420x65x319. the satellites are reasonably small so I would need a box big enugh for them. it might be better in 2 boxes.

it doesnt say anything about running 4 ohm speakers but from what i gather they are mainly cheap speakers sold in all in one packages.

Thanks for that... a shame, as if I get this I was thinking I may swap the speakers and these are 4 ohms ones. I would recommend sending in one package as possible to havel the costs.
