For Sale : Philips LX7500R home theatre/DVD recorder

I'm selling this on behalf of my brother who's moved to the States. It was bought new and is just over 3 years old, although it's been stored unused, for the last 18 months. There are a few minor marks/scratches on the top of the player casing, but the facia is in excellent condition. There are also minor marks on a couple of the speakers and some minor damage to one of the poles as can be seen in the photos.

The speakers actually detach from the columns and come with wall mounting brackets

Hi,

Could you confirm what digital inputs it has? Will be connecting STB, PS3 by either optical or coax and also need input from Wii.

I presume the covers on the speakers aren't removable?

Do you know how long the speaker & sub woofer cables are? And could you also let me know the height and width of the speakers by themselves.

Do you know if it's possible to plug it in to my PC (via USB?) to burn stuff to DVD?

Lastly, where abouts are you based so I know if collection is viable. Otherwise, can you arrange to post?

sorry, i'll have to have a look at answering your questions when i get home tonight. This was my brothers, i've never used it and know virtually nothing about it.

My location is stated in the original thread, but i don't think posting is going to be an option as there's several different bits and it'll be a PITA to box up to insure safe delivery.

It has a coaxial and optical digital input and a coaxial digital out.

The speaker fronts aren't removable (as far as i can see) and the speaker dimensions are 280mm h x 72mm diameter. The sub cable is 470cm, the front cables are 500cm and the rear cables are 1500cm.

And there's no USB input.
