Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:

1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2) Name and address including postcode
3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

I can offer £150 inc via BT which is what the last one went for For Sale : Humax Freesat box

I'm happy to arrange a courier to collect it if you don't want the bother of sending it out, in which case I'd reduce my offer by £7 to £10 depending on the exact cost of collection.

No worries, and as you say, it's your choice, just wanted to provide a context for my offer. Care to make a counter-offer?

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

Where was it bought from?

You say you have lost the reciept, but do you have any other forms of proof of purchase?

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

it was bought from homebase online, which afaik is argos as when i rang them up to confirm the delivery date it was argos customers services that answered.

afraid no other proof of purchase either

if you're thinking it may be older than i'm saying or something along those lines, they've only been out around 8 months.

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

So don't you have email confirmations, or card statements etc?

I have no doubt you are a genuine seller, but I may be buying this for a colleague that is a bit more of a worrier than myself.

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

to be honest i have that many cards i haven't a clue which one i purchased it on, most of which are paperless statements, i really don't want to spend an evening trawling through my statements just to get a specific date i'm afraid

i've explained theres no receipt and the reasons why, and posted a starting price to reflect that.

Re: For Sale : Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR 320GB

It it helps, Homebase and Argos are part of the same group. You could always give the customer services people a call and ask for a copy of the statement/receipt - might help with the sale
