Wanted : Unwanted remote controls - working or not

Hi all, sorry strange request but I'm looking for a remote control or two for my 11 month old son who loves pressing the buttons and chewing on the remote controls - teething rings just don't cut it when the Denon remote looks so tasty!

So if you have any that you don't use lying around (preferably silver - so they look like ours) I'd be really grateful - more than happy to pay for post and packing ofcourse.

Many thanks
WB

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:

1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2) Name and address including postcode
3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Thanks mate- much appreciated! I just don't get why they make kids toys big and multi-coloured when what they want is silver, sleek with tiny buttons!

Its psychological warfare mate - If you want him off the remote controls, simply start playing with his toys. He'll soon want them back

hm.... can see your method.. but dont forget about the bacteria which may be lurking within the buttons on second hand remotes.. you just dont know where theyve been

would hate to think that your son were to get ill as a result

Re: Wanted : Unwanted remote controls - working or not

Mate don't do this, it's really not worth the risk.

Apart from the well mentioned bacteria / dirt issues referred to above (even if you think your remote is clean, it most certainly isn't ) ..............childrens toys are safety tested to stringent standards of safety and levels of destruction to ensure that kids can play with them risk-free and are free from choking. As I'm sure you are aware, where post release field tests show faults, unsafe toys are often then recalled and replaced.

God forbid that small bits / buttons of an old remote break off and choke your child when you're not looking, as clearly, it's only been been tested as a remote and not a toy.

Sorry for the black cloud on this, but feel it needs to be said.

Cheers

Re: Wanted : Unwanted remote controls - working or not

surely it's better to teach your child to not chew your remotes?
