I have bought a set and am so pleased with the speakers that I wanted to recommend them, as well as the excellent service provided by the seller. I hope this is useful to someone.

They are available in black but not from this retailer, you will probably have to pay close to double that price to get the black ones. I bit the bullet and bought the silver ones and can only say good things about these speakers, considering the size they are also good for music. The same seller also has the bespoke speaker stands for sale at £44.99 a pair which is also half price, they are a good quality stand and not too intrusive in the house. I also had a good buying experience with this retailer.

If you're in the North West you can also pick these up, they have a bricks and mortar shop, just let them know you're coming beforehand to make sure they have them in - they get them from the warehouse if you're collecting. Popped in and they did them for £170 - helpful and friendly and helped lug them to the car - can't say fairer than that.

got these myself as well....great company to do business with....great product...the sub is pretty big but sounds amazing ....goes really well with the sony 2400 amp........hope they dont sell out of the stands as i want a set but im broke.....lol

Originally was thinking of getting the Sony ht-is100 all in one system, but didn't think it would be too good at playing music and the sub positioning was crucial.
I then considered the jamo a102hcs5 speakers, but they cost about 40 quid more and don't come with any speaker wire!
So I have just literally bought a set of these Harman kardon speakers off ebay!
All I need is a receiver now to hook up to my ps3,any suggestions up to £300 price bracket?
