Silly question- this has no DAB tuner (or FM), but can you get the BBC radio channels through the internet?

This basically can stream any internet radio station. Going through 'local stations' you can find many BBC stations. More so it has a search function so lets say you want to listen to an artist or genre, 'type' it in and off it goes finding a list of stations that are relevant. I have attached a You Tube video of a review of all the Squeeze products if you are considering it:

Presumably I can run this on my EOP network by simply connecting an ethernet cable run from one of the Devolo plugs?

I was going to ask this too- does it have an ethernet port for houses where WLAN is poor?

Would anyone who has one of these mind giving a list (or linking to a list) of UK radio channels found without any add-ons (e.g. Alien BBC).

Does the Slim server sofware need to be running to listen to internet radio?

Sorry for all the Qs, I'm off to the streaming devices forum

Edit: Which has very little on the Boom. Off to Logitech forums....

Just check that you tube review. It has built in wireless & an ethernet port.

Am not sure if the Squeezecentre has to be installed if using just for radio, I am assuming not because even though I installed it on my NAS drive & was using everything ok. My NAS then had some problems and was not running the Squeezecentre so I was only able to listen to internet radio but (obviously) not stream any music from the NAS. So for that reason I would say no it does not require the Squeezecentre installed to just play radio stations.

Man the radio station list would just go on and on and on! Put it this way, with the search function, you will always find something to listen to.
