Belkin PureAV S-video to Scart & Audio lead - £1.99
Ok, so there are bargains, then there are bargains, then there are stupid prices like this which make you think something has gone very wrong with the pricing system!
Genuine Belkin PureAV high quality SCART to S-Video 2 RCA, 1.2m cabes, RRP £25 selling for just £1.99 in Home & Bargain! I did a proper double take when I walked passed them today and thought it must be a price error, but sure enough that's the price. The raw materials alone must be worth more than that! Belkin : PureAV™ Scart To RCA/S-Video Cable 16'
So if you happen to be needing this cable you're in luck (or, even if you don't need one, as I told my wife when she asked me why I'd bought one, 'it'd be rude not to at that price'..) Get 'em while they're hot!

Saw these the other day and noticed it was actually written on packaging as S-video to Scart not t'other way round as you have listed.
Will it work both ways? Thought I'd mention it as the QED Scart to S-Video lead i used to use was directional and wouldn't work both ways. Beliive this is the case for most of these S-video > Scart cables.

No. Some are switchable though, IIRC. You'd have to resolder this in a different arrangement to 'reverse' it, assuming you can get into the Scart plug.

Maybe need to amend the title of thread then as this is definitely an S-video to Scart lead not Scart to S-video as per thread title

Just to update this thread, I checked back in to the same store today (called 'Home Bargains' in Liverpool) and found a Belkin PureAV 'Universal DVD connection kit' for just £1.99!
Basically this consists of the following components, each of which is worth well over £1.99 in its own right.
Switchable SCART adaptor
PureAV
3.6m composite video cable
Belkin : Blue Series Composite Video Cable
3.6m S-Video cable
Belkin : Blue Series S-Video Cable
3.6m 3.5mm to 2 RCA audio cable
All good quality cables at one stupidly low price!
