Re: Monitor Audio Radius 90 and Radius 360 half price + Cheap QED Cables!!
Been looking for a black pair of the 90's for ages. Peter Tyson do the silver for £50 odd quid per speaker as do Hughes Direct but the black ones are always full price.Richer Sounds do them for £99 each so with the VAT coming down I might save £2 each on them!!!

Silver is always the least desirable colour, the rosewood looks really nice.
Didnt think RicherSounds sold Monitor Audio?? is it just in-store only?

My local Richer Sounds (Belfast) sell MA. They are not part of the UK Richer Sounds and you can see their stuff on Richer Sounds Ireland. They only post to Ireland though. They hate me for all the price matching I get them to do!!!

Re: Monitor Audio Radius 90 and Radius 360 half price + Cheap QED Cables!!
Just an update.... The Radius' are now discontinued. The new MA Radius are out called Radius HD. Cheapest I could see anywhere was £285 per pair at Peter Tyson so when my local Risher Sounds offered them to me at £199 per pair, in black I snapped their arm off!!

Re: Monitor Audio Radius 90 and Radius 360 half price + Cheap QED Cables!!
I've just put six little MA Radius 45's in the lounge (£40 a pop from Richer). They are coupled with a Yamaha dspax 763. The MA's have very limited bass so I want to include a sub. ANy ideas before I give in an d go for the MA 360? I don't need to spend big bucks as this system is purely for gaming and the odd movie. I'll not be listening to music on it as I've a pretty good stereo system in the lounge (valves and ProAcs).

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what do you think of the R45's. Just got a deal on a pair for £50. Will use them as rears for my system, R270's and R180 centre.
Regards

Re: Monitor Audio Radius 90 and Radius 360 half price + Cheap QED Cables!!
I've now got 7 of the little r45's in my lounge (one is not connected yet lol). I am still waiting for Richer to come up with a radius 360 sub to top the lot off.
I love the little radius 45 speakers and a steal they were at 30 odd quid each. They will deffo need a sub for the bass end of things but I am not in any big rush tbh. Build quality is all you could expect and more from MA which is excellent. Sound is good enough for me and my infrequent movie/gaming sessions.
To quantify all this I'd have to say that the home cinema is very much a secondary system for me. These speakers and the yamaha amp whilst excelent are no match for the Icon Audio STereo 40i and ProAc studio 140's in my hifi music system. They are simply awsome!
