I am interested in the RGB - VGA converter. Does it come with the box and manual etc? How old is it and what condition is the unit in.

Many thanks

Might be interested in the Belden RCA cable and the optical cable. How long are they?

The RGB to VGA convertor is a John Sim unit that I have never used. I did however nick the packing to send a mains lead out to someone......I think I have instructions but it's not hard to work out. You set your prodcut to output RGB then stick a scart in one side and a VGA lead in other, then plug it in and power up. I think it is about 6 months old

cpadams: compo? compo nent or compo site?

Belden RCA is 80cm ish and the optical is the standard (probably 1m)

i'll take the ixus 106 and the linn speaker cable, gordon

would £30 inc cover it?

also, do you have any more of the speaker cable, in case i don't have enough? not sure how much i need yet

EDIT: i'm also after a remote video switch box, if you find one during your clearout (quattro, quintro sort of thing)

cheers, mate. let me know your payment details.

i can do nochex / paypal / fastpay / bank transfer.

i can even do old fashioned cheques or cash, if needs be...

also, let me know if you find a video switch box and some more linn cable, though, as it'd save on postage

Hi Gordon
Not sure if John has bought the Sims unit - if he does not want it then I'll buy for sure.

Ok, any more enquiries for Gordon should be emailed. I don't want this to become a Convergent AV support forum.
