Where did you see the Tosh 330 for £90 ?. Looked on their web-site but no 330's listed.

the dvd recorder at 300 seems a bargain...but[ and there,s always a but] will richer actually have plenty to sell, if they do i can imagine them going quickly!

On the link it says: "This item may be substituted with a Philips DVDR980 that is of similar specification, but cosmetically different." Is the 980 better, or worse?

980 is the older model, has 1 less recording mode and doesn't play MP3s

but the thing with philips dvd recorders is that you can update the fimware to alter things like recording time to 6 hours playback features etc.
there is a support web site ,when i find the address i'll post it on here.
