OK it takes a little time to get this price, I just did it - Very happy!

1) join quidco if you are not already a member, its free any very useful! here

2) join littlewoodsdirect here

3) Wait for littlewoods to contact you with a credit limit - this will confirm that you have a valid account

4) goto quidco, login, search for littlewoods direct and click the link to start shopping there with 9% cashback

5) Order the TV ** MAKE SURE YOU USE EITHER ONE OF THESE CODES TO GET A FURTHER 10% OFF "xx625" or "XX562" (no quotes!) TH42PZ80 for £799here

6) If your credit limit was below £723 you need to call them straight away and pay the difference with a CC or Debit card (eg my credit limit was £650 - so i called them and paid the £73 difference on my card)

7) Wait for quidco to pay you the £55 cashback (takes around 3 months) - Note quidco membership costs £5 a year - but this money is taken from your earned cashback - you never actually pay them anything!

Total discounts:
£1099 discounted to £799 on the website
£799 - 10% from discount code = £719
Quidco on Ex.VAT amount (719 / 1.175 = 611 : 9% of 611 = £55) £719-£55 = £664
+ Delivery charge = £664+£3.50 = £667.50

Or about 700 (or less) price matched at lewis' with a 5 year warranty and JL aftersales service - or £750 if you just buy it from JL without the price matching.

Who would you price match it with for around £700? I think the shelf edge price is £799 or thereabouts up and down the country

My info might be a little out of date, but I do know that my brother purchased one in JL Peterborough for £749 without a mention of a price match...

Yeah prices have been up and down at JL recently, but I think its currently 849 there (and out of stock!)

Have to salute the OP as it is a very well thought our way of getting a good deal if you have the patience to pull it off, sadly it's a little complex for me and I'll stick with trying to get a decent price match with JL.
