5.1/DTS setup for around £150 anywhere?

Our speaker system in the living room has just knackered. It was a 5.1/Sub system combined with a DVD Player, so no Optical inputs on it.

We have got a PS3 now too, my brother was just about to rush out to Argos to spend £130 on a new DVD/Surround combi with no optical input. This to me seems like a good oppurtunity to atleast get something with DD5.1/DTS to benefit from the Blu-ray viewing on the PS3, I expect TrueHD things are still too expensive.

We're looking to spend about £150 max on a new system and it must atleast have an optical input so we can connect the PS3, the more inputs the better though.

We have just tsted all the speakers, they do work. the fault seems to be with the intergrated amp/subwoofer.

Would it be cheaper to use the existing speakers and buy a new amp/subwoofer (with optical) than buying a complete new system?

Any recommendations please, discounts, deals, quidco etc?

Please!

this has an optical in

and here are some words about it.

Acoustic Solutions DS534 - Anybody have one?

it'll probably be relatively poor but imo adequate 5.1 is still hugely better than good stereo sound or a tv speaker for games.
