Re: DVI to HDMI 5m cable

I used these guys recently

http://ukhdmi.com/hdmi-cables.php?gc...FQxtQgodnjZ6bg

Seem to have a fair few recommendations around here...

Quick delivery arrived next day, also answered some questions I had.

(apparently no difference between their premium cables and the premium n cable the n cable just looks flashier!)

you need a molex cable - have a look at CRT projectors good prices but service may I had bad service or Farnell bit more expensive but reliable

I got my first hdmi cables from cpc.farnell.com/ again quick delivery, nicely made cables but the ukhdmi ones look slightly nicer seem to remember a delivery charge for orders less than £50 with farnell.

Both do exactly what they say they do, no problems off of either.

Re: DVI to HDMI 5m cable

I'll second the CPC Farnell recommendation, although they will inundate your doormat with catalogs forever more. You might also try Kenable for cheap cables. They also have an ebay shop if you prefer.

UKHDMI used to do a DVI to HDMI adapter. Also if you phone UkHDMI they will often list items like different adapters that are not currently on their website.

I picked up a 10m HDMI to DVI cable from Ebay for about £40 which works fine but should have used ukhdmi as they are far cheaper. Not used their cables myself but my mate has a 10m (ish) cable and it works fine.

Re: DVI to HDMI 5m cable

They sell them in Woolworths too strangely. Don't know what the quality is like though.

Sorry just realised you want a 5m one, they only sell 1m. Think they might sell converters too though, can't remember.
