250GB Maxtor OT4 External Hard Drive £49.99

Maplins are doing the 250GB Maxtor One Touch 4 external hard drive for £49.99. Seems a good price to me!

Not so good, when you see that for an extra £15, you can double your memory @ Dixons:

I didn't mean that in a harsh way fella - It's just that I've been looking at the 500Gb version myself, & thought that Maplin were doing a good deal, until I shopped around & found it on the Dixons website

Re: 250GB Maxtor OT4 External Hard Drive £49.99

Same company but better warranty with Seagate. There seems to be a bit of a maxtor backlash, must admit I've never had any problems with them, just pick Seagate for the warranty

The seagate looks may not be for everyone, the bit on the bottom where the usb goes means you can't stack them.
