Plasma screen heaven?

Just received this website address. Its got 3 plasma screens at unbelievable prices. It just looks a bit dodgy, no address, no company history etc. But the prices warrant a closer look.

From the conditions page:

"The payment must be settled by transfer on our bank account.
Should Epsilon notice after the conclusion of the contract that the ordered goods are no longer available at Epsilon or cannot be supplied for legal reasons, Epsilon can either offer goods equivalent in quality and price or can withdraw from the contract"

That means no relying on Credit card protection, and if they can't get any at this price, they'll send you a standard 32" TV instead!

(just my guess, but the site doesn't look legit to me).

There was something in the news recently about a scam based on non-existent plasma TVs; I should be very careful if I were you.

I don't think I've ever seen a more dodgy looking company.

I can sell them cheaper. Just send a cheque for £1,500 made payable to Ian J Plasmas and send it to PO Box 58, West Midlands and I will send you the screen as soon as your cheque has cleared.

Postage or Green Shield stamps will do. I'll also take Luncheon Vouchers if necessary.

Ian,

since we all know that the electronics prices go up and down, I think we really can't know how much the plasma will cost the day my cheque arrives. Is it OK to leave the amount for you to write?

i've sent the website address to trading standards.
if your buying something on the internet, try to pay by credit card, then your fully covered if the item doesn't arrive....but you all probrably know that already
also watch out for people selling plasma screens on auction sites for really low prices,it's a big con.

I hope you're not talking about Ian, since that would ruin his Caribbean holiday.
