The Mico Celo is multi out of the box for £100 at Sainsburys. Has all the connections you need and does the job. Budget build feel to it though, but if you're not fussy..............

Hi Benji

Yep, That's the best deal I found. Previous Apex players have had handset hacks for Multi-Region and Macrovision disable. Guess I'll search the net quickly on this one then pop down the supermarket.

Cheers,

Mark.

Not a supermarket, but Dabs.com have a DVD player at £58 online, not got them in stock for a couple of days though yet. The brand is Dabsvalue so not so sure about the quality, but I'm looking for Christmas presents, so after a cheap one for mum + Dad!

Cheers

B.

Just picked up a Bush DVD2024 from Tesco for £85

Multi region straight from the box including RCE ones!
Selectable raw NTSC output or PAL conversion.
Not bad looking considering the price.
Very quiet mechanism.
Good on screen menu's.

Can't fault it for the price

Mark,

Just picked up an Alba 108 from Argos £69 for my folks. I asked on the DVD forum for a "Cheap as chips" player and allegedly it's quite good!!

Lidl stores are currently doing a weekly special on a Supervision 2550 dvd player which is advailable in silver and black and according to the box plays Mp3 and supports DTS as well as having Dolby digital decoding and seperated line outputs and component video connections, all for £69.00

Don't know if it's multi-region though although most cheap players are.
