Check out Empire Direct at the momen tfor some very good prices on Denon AV equipment.

I have taken advantage of silly prices fo rthe DVD 1930 adn most recently teh AVR 1707. basically the award winning 1507 but with HD suppord via components.

What hifi said the 1507 was the best amp for less that £400 5Star. well you can get the 1707 for £218 delivered less £10 when you use google checkout.

hopefully you can read between all of the typos in the above and work out that basically - there are bargains to be had.

p.s. they list some of the denon items (my 1930 dvd) as having 1 years warranty hinting that maybe these are not UK items. THESE ARE UK ITEMS WITH 2 YEARS WARRANTY - at least my dvd player was - my amp has not arrived just yet

I have the 1507 and my Sky HD runs 1080i through the component cables and the amp.
