Belkin Pure AV £39.95

I was poking around my local ( milton keynes) Currys at the weekend when I spotted Belkins 8 socket pure av for half price @ £39.95.
A lot less than I paid for mine =(

I think they've been at this price level for a while now (?). Search elsewhere on here for details. And Play appear to be offering it for £22.49 delivered but nobody's quite sure:

Good price, I think there is an error on play site but I suspect they will honour it if wrong. I got mine for £30 on ebuyer but I think the price has gone up again. £90 in Tottenham Court road at the moment!!

Saw these for under £40 on e-buyer and was tempted - around £80 in Dixons - but just gone for play, will let you know if it comes through.

They've also changed the description! I made a point of copying it when I ordered a couple last week to make sure I was sent the one they were advertising as there was some talk of it being a different version. This is what it said:

"The PureAV Isolator from Belkin offers power protection for home theater, audio/video, and digital entertainment components. This new offering provides the best surge protection available, using intricate circuitry that we''ve encased in rugged, fire-resistant metal. Offering the highest joule ratings and superior features, the PureAV''s key advantage is power filter technology (PFT).
PFT uses varying power filter levels to isolate and contain power line noise within individual pairs of receptacle banks. It provides the highest-quality protection available from overvoltages, and safeguards your sensitive home entertainment components from power line contamination, known as electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI)."

If I'm not mistaken the Isolator is the expensive one that they use in the picture but that's no longer mentioned now!

Looks like they've made a mistake then. I've got one on order from a couple of months back. Is the £17.99 one still a good product or should we look for the superior model elsewhere?

Think I'll cancel my Play one for the moment until some get delivered as it was only an impulse buy in the first place.

The Amazon one looks like a good bet if the Play one doesn't impress.

Play had it listed at twenty something quid for a 2 metre one and 60 odd for a 3 m one.

Not got mine yet, not even had an email about any delays, but my delivery estimate is 1st - 9th of June, so I may be getting the email (or the mains block ) any day now.

Also got one on order with Play still, and no news on that one either.
