Hi Taz- when we where there yesterday they couldnt get them working properly also but I dont think that they had thier equipment set up properly.

When we went back today, they had everything working perfectly!! I bought one on the strength of this- so did Cap and Adrenochrome!!

I can't make it to the show.

If a kind sole could pick me up a leaflet, I'd sort out all costs and owe you one.

I too received a pm from a member who went to great trouble to send me full details of an employee from the show. This has enabled me to purchase one at the show price + postage, which made me a small saving.

many thanks

Question Me too please!!

Hi there,

Please could whoever the forum benefactor of the details of how to purchase these remotes at the show prices (hopefully still?) - could you kindly PM me the details also, as I would be very intersted in purchasing.

One other point, of the two models mentioned at £79 or £99, what is the main difference between them and which one would any of you reccomend?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Hi Dave- I was at the show and bought the one at £79 but unfortunately, I dont know how to order them at show prices!

I can tell you that the only difference in the remotes is simply the layout of the buttons etc and colour.

The £99 model- has a small 'joy control' in the centre of the remote for controlling the extra functions. Where the £79 model has simple arrow type button to control these (similar to Sky remotes control arrows).

The £99 model is silver and is supposed to be better laid out than the other.

I would say that the layout of the £79 one is better and the buttons are of a better quality! Thats why I went for that one!!

The £79 model is the H655 and the £99 model the H688. I would agree with the comment that the buttons are better laid out on the H655.

I have been following various Harmony Threads and decided to take the plunge for the 655 @£99, however if they are available for £79 then it would be rude to pass on such a bargain.

Could someone please PM me with the details on how/where these offers can be obtained

Thanks

Chris
