From what I can gather it's multiroom which costs £10/month.

I think you can cancel this after a year but I haven't taken it so I don't know for sure.

Does anyone know if the new boxes will have more bells and whistles or are they just bigger?

The second subscription is a £10 mirror subscription, it will be exactly the same as your current one.

When installing Sky+ they will relocate your other box in another room at the same time.

This offer is now on the sky web site.

I got the SKY+ box this Monday gone on a new subscription for £99. If you want it too tell them your friend got the plus box as a "closure deal" (haggle deal - lol) and you want the same. I did order the sky world with the family pack but I don't think this is neccesary, even if it is you can always downgrade your sub after the first month.

I take it the cancellation window (with no penalty) is one calendar month then?

As an existing customer who has just purchased an extra digibox and multiroom for £99 2 weeks ago, I thought I'd see if they would let me have a Sky + box....no such luck, this offer is not for exisiting or previous subscribers according to the supervisor I spoke to. All she kept refering to was sky+ not being available 5 years ago, when i took out my orignal subscription

Anyway, she said take a look at the offers for exisiting subscribers, £149 for Sky+.......I don't think so.

I'm having mine installed tuesday and I've recieved my viewing card in the post today. The card is the same as a regular sky viewing card and the booklet I recieved with it is purely Sky and not Sky+ is this correct?

@cmf21: I'm an existing customer mate and they gave it to me with the code for £99

I just paid 2 weeks ago £199 for sky plus and relocated my exsisting box to another room for free for taking out an extra subscription.

Do you reckon I will be able to purchase an extra sky+ fo £99 to replace the standard box that they relocated.?.
