Tannoy RSub15 @ Richersounds under £150

Don't know if this is a good sub or not - but Richersounds's www.richersounds.co.uk deal of the day is doing a Tannoy RSub15 for 50% of it's normal price which is normally £299(collection only). I have seen it advertised for up to £500 in the UK and much more than that on US websites. Would be interested to know if anyone has any experience of this sub.

I owned this sub and it was pretty awful (very bad "hum") so I upgraded to a RELQ50 - I like Tannoy stuff (see my sig.) but this sub is POOR. I paid £299 for it, but it won't make it any better just 'cos its cheap

My advice would be to avoid.
