Tevion portable DVD @ Aldi
Just bought portable DVD player at Aldi - 7" screen - £159.99. Picture quality seems to be v. good. Only plays region 2 dvds anyone know hack for region 1?

I got my inlaws to pick one up for me this morning in the hope that it should be easy to hack. I won't get to play with mine until Monday so hopefully something will have come up by then I'll keep an eye out.

According the forums at DVD Reviewer Model no. is Tevion DVP 7011 if the people who have them there post a hack I'll pass it on.

Been using mine for a couple of days now and think it's great. Plays MR discs and DVD-Rs with ease. Only things I noticed were the screen needs careful angle and brightness setting (the Panasonic I've seen had a better screen but at a price).

Bought the Tevion DVP 7011 too and its really a nice piece of kit. Thanks to Aqualung for the hack.
Does anyone know what the battery code number is so that I can buy a spare for those looooong journeys ?
