6 months free trial is well worth the price of the DVD player. Sadly I've already had a 3 month trial so I'm pretty sure I won't be eligible for this free trial otherwise I would snap one up

You might find that you actually will, I'd already had a 2 months trial with Lovefilm. when I bought the XDE500 earlier this year and got full 12 months

You're spot on Awink. After I posted yday I decided to email Lovefilm about it. They said I would still be eligible for the Toshiba promotion which is great news.

But now i'm miffed I missed out on a 12mth free trial!!

Don't feel too bad its was 4 discs a month. You do get a usb port now

Oh rats I just checked the T&C's closer and this is also a 4 disc a month trial. I thought there must be a catch somewhere!

The USB is def a for me - I still may get it

Has a 6 on the front instead of a five, and usb ports , err thats about it. Done nothing to upgrading the the upscaler.

Those time limits in the t and c are a real bi***h ! and easy to fall foul of. Almost makes you think they didn't want you to take it up
