Pretty good IMO! I've had one since the last good offer (but from Richer sounds). Never let me down.

It was actually from Maplins (doh!). I've used it on:
Yamaha DSP E800
Nad C370
Toshiba DVD Player
Marantz CDP
Pioneer CD Recorder
Phillips Tv
Panasonic VCR

It is fully compatible with all I've thrown at it. The only downside is you have to occasionally use a little thought at your buttons (touch screen) as there is no Video Plus Button for example. But for £30 you can't really complain!

HTH
Cheers steve

This thing is a learning remote.......so if its got ir then it should wrk it.

use yr original remotes to teach the pilot and bobs yr uncle.

Should come with instructions that describe what to do.

Sounds good ... but I understand - rightly or wrongly that the NTL box is not standard IR?? and causes probs with learning remotes?

Cheers.

As Vulkan says it is a learning control. I cannot comment on the ntl remote compatability as I've not got one (nor available to me!)

Cheers steve

I bought one back in the summer.

I find the wide, square shape a little ackward for one handed operation and generally have to hold it on one hand and press the screen with the other hand. Even then it feels a bit wide for just one hand.

Apart form that, it works great - as long as you remember to press the correct button for the unit you want to operate - prevents things like whacking the hi-fi up to full volume when you only wanted to flick through the cable channels!

What devices are you using with it?

You mention cable channels...so is it a Pace STB?

Cheers,

Steve.

Mmm, just went to order and it says this on the product details page...

"Please note: This is not compatible with Pace Cable TV Boxes"

I have one of the new Pace NTL boxes - without audio outputs on the back - can anyone confirm that they use this remote with this model of Pace STB?

Thanks,

Steve.

Is this the same as the Cambride Remote RS used to sell. If so it used to be £80!! so £30 is a good price
