Sharp BP-HP21H Blu-Ray Player £57.50 at Makro

I just received the latest Makro Mail and was pleasantly surprised to see the Sharp BP-HP21H Blu-ray player is advertised for only £49.99 plus vat. That works out at £57.50. Fantastic deal!! Might have gone for one of these myself if I hadn't already bought a Curtis multi-region BD player for £50 a few weeks back.

Re: Sharp BP-HP21H Blu-Ray Player £57.50 at Makro

....meant to be slow loading and not too cracky menu lay out....only profile 1 as well...so might be a bit picky about what discs to play?....
but for the money it's a no brainer for a cheap second player.
cheers.

This caught my eye too, it would be an ideal christmas gift for someone imo and at the price its a very cheap way to start the move over to Blu-ray.

Re: Sharp BP-HP21H Blu-Ray Player £57.50 at Makro

In makro mail it says BD 1.1, HDMI 1.3

I don't have blu ray yet, is this item going to be a waste of money as it is older - or will it do all I need

I don't know the difference between BD 1.1 and 1.3

Thanks

Steer clear as it wont play all discs my 20 model didnt what do you expect at this sell off price they must have a high mark up new gutting if you've a s/h one to offload

Get a Sony 350 or Panny 35 out of box they are profile 2 have regular softwear updates for newer discs & available at good prices now since newer models are now out
