O2 pay as you go

Ok this used to be free but they caught on so its up to £9.99 now.

Go to their site an order a pay as you go sim only...you'll get 300 texts free a month.

simply put the sim in one of yr exsisting phones..

Warning:-If you are on a contract and the 12mth is up.....pull the old sim out b4 you tell them yr going to cancel..cos they'll send a signal to mess up yr phone.

O2

Right then here goes an attempt at explaining it..-

when you get yr sim put it in yr phone, then go and get a top up card.Once the card shows at their end you get the free text.(note you can tell if you have recieved it cos yr credit doesn't go down when texting)Apparently you also get 300 wap mins free too, though i'm not to sure about how that wrks.

further,you also get a free £1 credit for every £10 top-up....

As long as you have credit in the phone, you get the texts free per month.

e.g If you top up on the 20th dec for the first time......add two days for it to show their end and then every month on the 22nd (as long as theres credit in the phone) you get yr textys.

p.s I know a few people who got a few of these sims when they were free and all of them are enjoying this deal right now.

Got one of these - bargain. Topped up on day one with £10, have sent about 100 free texts, credit still shows as £10.

My sisters friends brother (I know) got 5 or 6 for free and then sold them on for £5 or so, they are all using these things every moth, put £10 on them and then have never topped up since they track the texts roughly and check the credit levels.

The website states that a minimum £10 MONTHLY top up is required.

Is this the case?

You can get them from O2 shops for only £4.99. They seem to have good stock levels too - (well in Birmingham they do)

It's still a VERY good deal but I just thought that it was a point worth noting!

I have just ordered 2 of these from o2 on-line for 1p each! They also include 300 WAP minutes - that's £60 of services for £10 and you can use that £10 on calls!!

They must be mad!!!

Rory

I have had one of these sims for about 18 months now.
You have to top up £10 same time every month... although occasionally you can get away with it, and still receive your free wap and text.
That about £1 for every £10 you top up isn't correct. You get this £1 the FIRST time you top up by E-card. So you still have to get a £10 top up, then use that e-card to top up a further £10, to get £1... ONLY once. The more you top up that one time, the more free credit you get.
300 texts do go quickly! 9 texts or so a day. And 300 wap minutes, isn't actually all that long. Over the month... 9 minutes a day or so? Goes quick when you're not paying attention!

Forgot to add... The sim is automatically Online tariff first off. But you can change it to talkalot tariff. Which the calls are quite a bit cheaper, but you still get all the texts etc as usual.

*Edit, one of these days, i'll get the r's and f's right in tariff! :kisses:
