Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

Mentm,

Hmmm, interesting - might be worth it - pay for an hdmi cable and get some hifi comics for free.......

Will think about it and try and work out when I would have to cancel (always the issue with pesky direct debits!!).

Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

I had a subscription a few months back, 6 months, and just cancelled via email after 5 months. No hassle, email received to confirm cancellation.

Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

Emm.. If i need 2 cable. Does it mean I need to order 2 copy of them?

Can I canel the subscription straight away after I received the HDMI? Hence I only paid the first 6 month?

Friend has just got me this as part of my birthday present!

Sweet!

Will let you know when the cable turns up! It seems there are so many offers out there it is confusing for friends to buy these subscriptions......

Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

They had a similar offer about 2 years ago -for the plain vanilla 1.5m Chord carnival silver HDMI cable...
Afraid I cant remember how long it took for the cable to turn up -maybe a couple of months.

Strangely my subscription was cancelled after 6 copies came though my letter box!
No surprise there was a glut of them on ebay not long after mine turned up!
-I've still got mine. I Think its time for an upgrade.

If it is costing less than £22 pounds for the cable & 6 copies of the mag +postage, it makes you wonder what sort of mark up this stuff has?

Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

I too had the chord silver cable through the magazine subscription. Think it took a couple of months to turn up.

I do enjoy reading the mag though everything is taken with a pinch of salt!! Still good to see what new equipment is available to tempt me... Also would never pay retail for this cable but at this price who could argue, also a nice length.

Glad to be of help

Re: Chord Active HDMI for £21.93?

I think you would have more luck if you offered somewhere nearer the £80 they sell for on ebay...........
