Sony BDP-S360B Blu-ray Disc Player in stock at Play.com

Just seen that Play.com have the new Sony BDP360 in stock at £199.99

Play.com (UK) : Sony BDP-S360B Blu-ray Disc Player : Electronics - Free Delivery

Seems it's cropping up at few other stores as well, all around the same price band.

Seems a bit of a price hike compared to a 350. Having just ordered a 550 I was tempted to hold off for the 560 at a rumoured price of £250 but I don't need Wi-Fi connection.

Based on the 360 price maybe the 560 will be more than £250.

The price will come down quickly. At £200, it is cheaper than the 350 was when it first came out.

The 350 has been reduced successively until it reached it's current level. I would have thought it will only be a few months before we see big cuts on the 360.

RicherSounds are doing the 360 for £199.95, with multiregion DVD.

I paid £200 for the S350 when it came out so the price is about right.

Nothing. It just looks different and will come with profile 2.0 (S350 was launched with 1.1). The S560 will be the same plus built in wireless.

I think the 360 also decodes DTS-HD-MA whereas the 350 only decodes the 'core' DTS track.

Yes it does. Only really useful with people with HDMI amps that doesn't decode HD.
