Re: Hitachi 22 LCD TV/DVD Combi

I got one for my daughter and have to say I'm pretty impressed with it for the money.Sound is a bit of a letdown but you could say that about most small LCD sets.A multi region hack for it would be great if anyone has one as my daughter's Disney DVD's are pretty much all R1.Hooked up my Xbox 360 via component and it looked great for such a cheap set.DVD playback is pretty good as well for the price.Haven't tried the freeview as there is no aerial in her room at the moment.Remote is a bit rubbish but it does the job.I'm sure there are better sets out there but not for this kind of money.

Re: Hitachi 22 LCD TV/DVD Combi

A region hack is now available if anyone else needs it.

1. Select DVD button on the remote control (make sure no disk is loaded).
2. Select the DISPLAY button on the remote control (a new menu will appear)
3. Type 1,3,5,7 on the remote control and new menu will appear
4 Using the down arrow button you can now select which region you want '0' for multi region etc.
5 Press the OK button on the remote control
6 Press DISPLAY button on the remote control the menus will disappear and you should now be able to play any region discs
