Fitting new electric sockets

I was wondering how hard it is to fit new sockets in my front room, is it something you can do yourself or would I need to get a qualified electrician in ?

You need to be either part p certified electrician or do the work yourself and get your work checked by an electrian.

Minor works, indoors, outside of a kitchen or bathroom area (doesn't necessarily include things like downstairs loos in the bathroom bit either), don't require testing or a certificate. Examples include things like replacing existing fittings, and wiring new spurs and light circuits onto existing installations.
