love the back lighting effect. That is some careful scribing around the cornice to get a nice equal gap and all the way around. Is each side done in 1 sheet?

The rope lights also run through the cabinets to provide lighting of the equipment ! More pics of this to follow.

Really, really nice. I have a few questions, if you don't mind. When putting in the drop down doors, how do you where to mark inside for the hinges? And what thickness is that MDF and was it easy to work with, as i'll be starting mine soon, so any tips please share.
Thanks

The TV was mounted on a bracket that has a scissur action arm on the back; this allows you to adjust the TV in most directions and allows it to be pulled out for easy cable insulations!
The bracket I used was bought from eBay for around £60 delivered! CLICK THE LINK TO SEE A PIC ! Google Image Result for http://img.chinapages.com/photo/51047000/Plasma_Bracket.jpg
Hope this helps! |

Thanks | Hi nice to see you like this installation for a new client!
The hinges are easy to fit if you take your time to practise on a spare peace of MDF, Place two pieces of MDF together at a right angle.
Allowing for a 2mm gap in the joints.
Place the hinge in the corner of the sections and transfer the required information-measurements to the MDF with a pencil.
Square all your lines up with an adjustable square and then take notes on the positions of the holes that are required.
Drill the required hole in the door section to take the Blumb hinge; do not drill all the way through the MDF!
When fitting the Blumb hinge be shore to fit it square too the door and frame- unit!
It’s best that you just have a play and keep looking at your kitchen doors and how they work, you might find some videos on YOU TUBE
Hope this helps
