Plastering false chimney

I`ve just finished building a false chimney similar to the others on AVF, can you guys give me an idea on how much I can expect to pay to have it plastered.

I`ll stick some photos on later, thanks for your help.

Re: Plastering false chimney

If you have boarded it your self mate base it on £6 a metre labour

that seems to be the going rate but I would make sure the plasterer is a good one first or at least get them to do it before handing over the dosh.

There seems to be a lot of 3-4 day courses these days so you can call yourself a plasterer, well from experience they`res good and bad ones and some of the good ones have been doing it for years.

Mind you so have some of the bad ones as well

Re: Plastering false chimney

The only problem is if its only around 4m i cant see a plasterer coming out for £24. It would not be worth the fuel costs and mixing and cleaning all there gear.
