Centre speaker wall mount advice.

Hi

Can some one advice me how do i wall mount my centre speaker below my wall mount plasma, is it all right if i go to B&Q buy a beach finish wooden piece or chip board with wall fixings like clamps, fix the chip board on the wall and put my centre speaker on top of that chip board or wood piece will it be all right with the sound accoustics.Please help, shed some light on this for me

I know some centre speakers have keyholes on the back, so they can be mounted with a couple of screws. That might just be the one my brother has, but if it does have keyholes it should look something like this:



I have no idea how it would effect the sound...

i used a couple of L shaped brackets and used foam feet to stop the underside of the speaker from being scratched ,then painted to match wall colour below screen.
