hello all.
Just starting out on running some cables in my walls. The set up i'm trying to sort out in my head is a mix of HD and SD signals.
Most things are going to sit under the TV. So PS3 connected to TV via HDMI and to a 5.1amp via optical. All easy as pie.
But then, on the other side of the room will be the projector. this at the moment is an SD one and wont be upgraded for some time. but want to make sure that the cables going into the wall can do both SD and HD.
The thinking at the moment is to run two lots of cat5e or 6 round from behind the tv upto the projector and use something like this
HDMI CAT 5e Extender,HDMI CAT 6 Extender,HDMI CAT 5e / CAT 6 Extender - Techfocus to sort out the signal.
Firstly do these box of tricks work at all?
And is there a way of getting sd signal over cat5e/6 from a scart. RGB i think goes green when playing DVD out of the PS3 so am wondering what to do.
Can anybody help?
