Cable behind Plasterboard

Hi
I currently want to add an extra light on my stair wall going into the attic. I have taken the old one down and it seems that the cable isn't actually in the main wall but seems that when the attic was converted they have made a very small fake wall to put the cables in then plastered.
I was wondering if something knew the best way of me getting the cable in a channel down to the new light.

Re: Cable behind Plasterboard

Make another hole further down and chase a cable down?

Hi Liam

Make a hole and then try and thread it down behind or cut a channel out?
