RIGIFIX - Product Images and Video

Hi all,

After looking for a solution to mount my 50" Panny safely and securely it seems that Rigifix is the required proven solution - so I thought I would put the below up which will help when people search for 'Rigifix' and only get information about it but no idea what it looks like!

solution to a problem that does not need solving in my opinion.

in the video the brown plugs and screws woud have been sufficent if the right size screws were used.

also more time consuming as an sds drill is needed to drill a 16mm? hole apossed to a 7mm which takes me onto the next point which is a 16mm fixing is going to out preform a 7mm fixing, no exactly rocket sience is it. Thunder bolts would be the quicker option to use

There seems to a be a lot of people who wish to mount on plasterboard dot and dab who cut the plasterboard out and bolt MDF or plywood to the block behind etc to avoid the issue of the plasterboard cracking when tightening the bolts on a mount. Also, some people are using a spacer or a pipe cut to size between the block and the plasterboard to stop this happening so definitely an issue which Rigifix appears to solve quickly and easily according to the many satisfied users on here! I'm pretty sure a standard drill and drill bit can be used too not SDS

I used rigifix to wall mount an LCD on a plaster board wall (with breeze block behind) and thought they were great made the job really quick and easy. I had an SDS near at hand but ended up being able to complete the job with a cordless drill. It will really depend on whats behind the plasterboard as to what drill you need.
