Man Only Loft!

Half way through my loft project. It was only ever used for storage etc so thought I'd change it (need to always have something to do!).

Windows already done, the sides are boarded up (rather than taper to an inch in height!) and now the shelves and benching is all fixed in place.

Still need to paint things and make it look new/bespoke. Got the carpet down today from offcuts from the front room!

Now that I'm at the point of nearly using it, I find I'm struggling for ideas! I could move my main PC from the office to up there and use it as a type of gaming loft? Dunno? Its a shame I don't build train sets, this would be perfect for that!

I need ideas on what I could do with this 'spare man-only space'?

Re: Man Only Loft!

Should be very interesting in how this pans out. So do you intend to have a full setup (TV, games, surround, etc)?

Re: Man Only Loft!

Well my mates have several suggestions! I'm leaving the full TV setup as I already have a HD Surround system downstairs.

Here's what people have suggested to me!

1, A Huge Porn Collection
2, Scalextrix Track
3, Heroin Factory

Suffice to say I'm not enammered by these suggestions!

Re: Man Only Loft!

No. 1 sounds good to me

Looks like a good workshop/hobby room, do any model making?

Would be a bit of a faf to pull the ladder down each time you want to pop onto a machine, could be good for a home server or something though, keeps it out of the way.

Or if your a big book reader, a nice big comfy chair and custom book shelves would be good.
