pj screen pelmet ideas please

Hello.
I'll be ordering and installing my electric pj screen soon. I'd like to cover the body of the screen system with some kind of pelmet, so it doesn't look like a metal tube hanging on the ceiling.

Any advice on what can be used and how would be appreciated

Many thanks and Merry Xmas

Re: pj screen pelmet ideas please

just get some 2x2, make a frame in front of the screen and cover with MDF, paint it to match your decor and thats it.

Or to make it even better make a box and cut a slot in it so the screen cloth comes through.

Theirs loads about this on the forums mate, it`ll give you some better idea if you search through

Al

Re: pj screen pelmet ideas please

Done this twice already and due to an impending arrival of a wider tab tensioned screen, I'll be doing it again soon. There are pictures in my setup thread in the link in my signature. Current version has a fold down flap that acts as a top masking bar to make my 16:9 screen appear as a 2.35:1 one.
